USA Visit Visa (B1/B2) Requirements
1. Valid Passport
- Must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your intended stay in the U.S.
- If you have old passports with previous visas — bring them too.
2. DS-160 Form (Online Application)
- Complete the DS-160 form online at the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC).
- After completion, print the DS-160 confirmation page with the barcode.
3. Visa Application Fee
- Pay the non-refundable visa fee.
- Keep the payment receipt, which is required for scheduling your interview.
4. Visa Appointment Confirmation
- Schedule an appointment for a visa interview at your nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
- Bring the appointment confirmation letter on your interview day.
5. Photo Requirements
- Recent color photo (2x2 inches), white background.
- Taken within the last 6 months.
- Must follow official U.S. visa photo guidelines.
6. Supporting Documents
Prepare documents that prove your travel purpose, financial stability, and ties to your home country:

7. Interview at the U.S. Embassy
You’ll attend a short interview (typically 3–5 minutes). Be prepared to:
- Explain the purpose of your trip clearly.
- Show that you will return to your home country after your visit.
- Present financial and personal ties to your country.
8. Biometrics & Passport Submission
- Fingerprints and photo will be taken at the Visa Application Center (VAC).
- If approved, your passport will be kept for visa stamping.
